How to use:
Unlock the pliers by moving the lever on the blade. Insert the tip of the claw between the blades. Cut from the bottom up, keeping the clippers perpendicular to the claw. Avoid cutting the claws too short.

Tip:
Don't trim the nails too short. Disturbance of the living claw tissue causes pain and profuse bleeding. If the animal has light claws, you will easily notice the claw matrix forming a pale pink line. Trim the tips of the claws at a distance of at least 2 mm from the matrix line. For animals with dark claws, finding the matrix is not so easy. Trim the claw just a little. Notice the dark spot in the center of the freshly clipped claw - if you see it, the matrix begins right behind it. Don't cut any more.
